St. Thomas Aquinas College invites applications for a one-year, open-rank Visiting faculty position in Computer Science, to begin
September 2026.

Situated in the School of STEM, this position will support undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Data
Science, with the ability to teach selected Mathematics courses as needed. The primary teaching responsibility will be in Computer Science,
including introductory and upper-level courses. Teaching assignments may also include applied or quantitative mathematics courses aligned
with the candidate’s background.



The College seeks a teacher-scholar committed to high-quality undergraduate instruction. A
willingness to engage students in project-based learning, applied computing, or interdisciplinary coursework is strongly preferred.
Experience teaching Computer Science or Mathematics to a diverse student population, as well as familiarity with outcomes assessment and
General Education pedagogy, is a plus.


Faculty duties include a 24-credit teaching load per year, student advisement, participation
in curriculum development, and service appropriate to a visiting appointment. St. Thomas Aquinas College values excellence in teaching and
close faculty-student engagement, and applicants should clearly address their teaching experience and approach in their application
materials.



The salary range for this visiting appointment is $60,000–$68,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The
position includes a competitive benefits package and modest professional development support to facilitate conference participation or
pedagogical development.

A PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field from an accredited
institution is preferred. ABD candidates with evidence of dissertation progress, as well as candidates holding a relevant master’s degree
with significant teaching experience, will be considered.
